Underground networks and landscaping
Landscape design has been conceived as extension of the architecture to emphasise the monumentality of the building while simultaneously softening its austere.
Tall trees with columnar crowns echo the rhythm of the façade and stand in contrast to the stone cladding, heightening the interplay of light and shadow upon the surface of the walls. Their cutted silhouettes visually support the architectural composition and define a clear spatial hierarchy.
The spirit of a Mediterranean garden is evoked through sculpted hornbeams, neatly clipped yew bosquets, the graceful canopies of willows, and luxuriant magnolias. Landscape geometry converses with the gentle, living textures of plants.
In spring, the garden is imbued with the delicate hues of blossoming cherry and apple trees, infusing the composition with subtle notes of Eastern lyricism. This project stands as a refined dialogue between classical symmetry and the expressive beauty of the landscape.
