St.Petersburg historic centre bording "Manege" the Central Exhibition Hall, the project emphasising cultural significance of the site has been implemented in 2018. Basicly, the project concept concerning amphitheatre formed by a sequence steps framing the square. The steps serve not only an aesthetic purpose but also perform a practical role — acting as seating or as a podium.
The square is paved with granite and is ideal for temporary outdoor expositions. Particular attention has been paid to green spaces: planted perimeter of linden trees, whose dense, sculptural canopies offer shade, creating a comfortable retreat for visitors. Steps geometrical outlines, paving pattern and flowerbeds echo the rhythm of the CEH "Manege" facade and fit into St.Petersburg classical context, preserving the visual purity and architectural logic of the space. The project is more than a landscaping initiative — it is a thoughtful integration of landscape architecture and urban sphere, establishing a new cultural and civic destination for residents and visitors alike.
